A mineral processing engineer with experience in the minerals industry in Australia, Canada and China. Zeljka has been involved in the commissioning, operation and optimisation of polymetallic mineral processing circuits and holds a PhD in the design of energy efficient comminution circuits. Her thesis, awarded through the JKMRC, was named 2010 winner of the TMS Vittorio de Nora Prize for environmental improvements in metallurgical industries.
Zeljka has a passion for data and analytics, particularly in the area of process optimisation and circuit design. Since joining PETRA Data Science in 2015 she has played an integral role in the formulation of data science solutions at are relevant to the minerals industry. She is also a Founding Director of CEEC International, a global not-for-profit group aimed at increasing awareness around energy efficiency in comminution.
